ARTISTMilli Vanilli
Milli Vanilli was one of the most popular music groups of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its first album, All Or Nothing, sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. Every single released from the album reached the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100: “Girl You Know It's True”, “I'm Gonna Miss You”, “Blame It on the Rain” and “Baby Don't Forget My Number”.
In 1990, the group received the Grammy Award for “Best New Artist”; the award was later revoked after it became clear that Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan, the faces of the project, had not sung in the group. The project was put together by music producer Frank Farian and used vocals by Brad Howell, John Davis, Jodie Rocco, Linda Rocco and Charles Shaw. The source also mentions the documentary Milli Vanilli, directed by Luke Korem, and a 1997 pilot episode of Behind the Music about the group.
