Mikel Erentxun was born in Caracas on 23 February 1965. He is a member of the group Duncan Dhu; no dates are specified for the start or end of this membership.

His solo releases include the albums Naufragios (1992), El abrazo del erizo (1995), Acróbatas (1998) and Ciudades de paso (2003). Later releases include El corredor de la suerte (2006), El hombre sin sombra (2017) and El último vuelo del hombre bala (2019). His discography also includes Amigos de guardia (2021) and Septiembre (2023), followed by the EP Septiembre “Piano Sessions” (2024) and the album Navidad (2024).
