ARTISTLuna Li

Luna Li, born Hannah Bussiere Kim, is a Korean-Canadian artist. She began playing piano at the age of five and now plays violin, guitar, bass, drums, mini-harp, and flute. She cut her teeth in Toronto’s live music scene and reached a new audience during the pandemic by posting bedroom sessions in which she played every instrument and assembled the recordings into instrumental pieces. Her debut album, Duality, was released in 2022.

Her second album, When a Thought Grows Wings, reflects a period of personal change: Li ended an eight-year relationship and moved from Toronto to Los Angeles. She has opened on tours for Japanese Breakfast, Wolf Alice, and beabadobee, and worked with producers Monsune and Andrew Lappin. Her work spans performing, songwriting, arranging, and playing multiple instruments.
