ARTISTJack Johnson
Jack Johnson has released seven studio albums and two live albums, which have sold more than 25 million copies worldwide. His label, Brushfire Records, and his touring crew continue to play a leading role in efforts to make the music industry greener. The All At Once social action network connects fans with local nonprofits at each tour stop. With his wife, Kim, Johnson founded the Kokua Hawaii Foundation to support environmental education in Hawaii’s schools and communities, and the Johnson Ohana Foundation to support environmental, art, and music education worldwide.
Produced by Blake Mills, Meet The Moonlight is Johnson’s eighth studio album and his first full-length release in five years. Across ten tracks, it explores concerns including life’s impermanence, the fragility of human connection, the struggle for community, and the search for presence in an increasingly fragmented world. The album opens with a question about the complexities of human nature and sustains a heartfelt pursuit of deeper understanding, drawing on the warmth and poetic grace associated with Johnson’s music.
