Ill Blu is a production duo active since 2008. Their work on Princess Nyah’s Frontline, their remix of Shystie’s Pull Up, and releases on the UK label Hyperdub, founded by Kode 9, contributed to shaping the UK funky sound.

In the UK rap scene, the duo made hit singles with Unknown T, Krept & Konan, Loski, and OFB. They also worked with Headie One, Young T & Bugsey, Tion Wayne, J Hus, and C. Tangana. Ill Blu produced most of MoStack’s top-three album Stacko, including the singles What I Wanna and Shine Girl featuring Stormzy. The duo has expanded beyond its origins into the UK underground scene while retaining crossover appeal. Their releases include Eyes On Me with Danny Byrd, described in the biography as an R&B-infused drum & bass anthem.
