Haggard Cat is a British post-hardcore and alt-rock duo comprising Tom Marsh and Matt Reynolds, both former members of the cult band Heck/Baby Godzilla. The group is known for high-intensity live performances, impactful riff-based songwriting and introspective lyrical themes.

For their third full-length album, ‘The Pain That Orbits Life’ (2026, Church Road Records), Haggard Cat teamed up with producer Adrian Bushby, a two-time Grammy winner. The album draws on more progressive influences, bringing together sprawling epics, industrial synths and huge choruses with the adrenaline-charged moments for which the duo is known. It follows the self-released EP ‘Cheer Up’, also produced by Bushby, and the albums ‘Common Sense Holiday’ and ‘Challenger’, released by Earache Records. Over the years, Haggard Cat have played alongside Dead Kennedys, Enter Shikari, the Bronx and Mutoid Man, and performed at Glastonbury, Boomtown, 2000 Trees and ArcTanGent.
