ARTISTGOKUMON(UchikubiGokumonDoukoukai)

GOKUMON(UchikubiGokumonDoukoukai) is a three-piece band formed in Japan in 2004. In Japan, the group performs under the kanji name 打首獄門同好会, while internationally it uses the name GOKUMON. The lineup consists of male guitarist and vocalist Atsushi Osawa, drummer and vocalist Asuka Kawamoto, and bassist and vocalist junko. Its style pairs the powerful sound of a seven-string guitar and five-string bass with relaxed lyrics rooted in everyday life. The source describes this approach as “Seikatsu Micchaku-gata Loud Rock,” or “Life-Immersed Loud Rock.”

In live performances, the band incorporates VJ elements, projecting images and lyrics on screens in sync with the music. It held a solo concert at Nippon Budokan in March 2018 and another at Pia Arena MM in Kanagawa Prefecture in December 2022. In 2024, the group marked its 20th anniversary.
