ARTISTFuel
Fuel formed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1989, founded by guitarist and songwriter Carl Bell. The band is known for songs including “Shimmer,” from the album Sunburn; “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)” and “Bad Day,” from Something Like Human; and “Falls on Me,” from Natural Selection. Fuel has also released other rock singles and albums. Several of the band’s videos received heavy rotation on MTV, and Fuel performed on live national television in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Its songs have appeared on the soundtracks of Scream 3, Daredevil, A Walk to Remember, and Godzilla.
Sunburn is certified platinum by the RIAA, while Something Like Human is certified double platinum. “Hemorrhage (In My Hands)” held the top position on Billboard’s rock charts for more than three months. In 2013, Billboard’s Alternative Chart 25th Anniversary Top 100 Songs placed it at number six among alternative rock songs of the preceding 25 years. After rebuilding their bond, Carl Bell and longtime drummer Kevin Miller continued with Aaron Scott on lead vocals and guitar, Mark Klotz on guitar and vocals, and Tommy Nat on bass and vocals. Fuel’s seventh studio album, Pendulum, features Scott on lead vocals.
