ARTISTCavalera Conspiracy
Cavalera Conspiracy was formed in 2007 by Brazilian brothers Max Cavalera, on vocals and guitar, and Igor Cavalera, on drums, both formerly of Sepultura. Their reunion brought a ten-year rift to a close. The original lineup also included guitarist Marc Rizzo and bassist Joe Duplantier. The band’s debut for Roadrunner Records, Inflikted, was released on March 25, 2008. After a brief break, the brothers reunited in 2009 for a European tour and began work on a second album the following year.
Between 2008 and 2017, Cavalera Conspiracy released four studio albums: Inflikted, Blunt Force Trauma, Pandemonium, and Psychosis. After Marc Rizzo’s time with the group ended, Max and Igor continued as a duo and shortened the name to Cavalera. In 2023, they released a new recording of Sepultura’s debut album, Morbid Visions. A new recording of the Sepultura EP Bestial Devastation followed later that year.
