ARTISTCannibal Corpse

Cannibal Corpse released its fifteenth album, Violence Unimagined, comprising eleven tracks. In 2020, guitarist Erik Rutan became a full member of the lineup, which also includes Webster, founding drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, guitarist Rob Barrett, and vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. Rutan had been playing guitar with the band live since 2019 and also contributed to the album’s writing process.

Rutan has been a member of Morbid Angel and Ripping Corpse and fronted Hate Eternal. He had also previously produced four Cannibal Corpse albums, as well as work by Goatwhore, Soilent Green, and Belphegor. The cover artwork for Violence Unimagined is by Vince Locke; for censorship reasons, Locke also created a complementary image intended for wider release.
