ARTISTBecca Hatch

Becca Hatch is a Sydney artist of Kamilaroi and Samoan heritage, working in Australia’s contemporary R&B and dance scene. She came to wider attention in 2017 after winning Triple J Unearthed High’s Indigenous Initiative. In the years that followed, she developed an artistic direction marked by a broader scope and growing confidence.

Her music brings together youthful romanticism and lived experience, with songs exploring love, life and maturation. Recent releases such as “Without You” and “Blessed” reflect a strengthened vision that remains rooted in R&B and soul while also moving into dance and electronic sounds. Hatch also finds inspiration in her community of Western Sydney artists, who are forging new paths in the Australian music industry and challenging the limits of genre, labels and expectations. Dance-electronic and pop influences accompany the personal and artistic development reflected in her music.
