ARTISTApril's Love Affair

April's Love Affair hail from Shreveport, Louisiana, and quickly made a name for themselves in the early 2000s. The original lineup consisted of Ryan Veuthey on vocals, Spencer Bailey on guitar, Chris Kichler on guitar and vocals, Will Hughes on drums, and Jason Campisi on bass. The band developed a post-hardcore and screamo sound shaped by an eclectic range of influences.

Joel Reynolds later filled an open position on bass. His perspective contributed to the writing process and helped shape the songs that would become The Manner in Which I Scream Goodbye.
