Baba Yaga's Hut presents Ak'chamel + Derek Monypeny at Iklectic, London, September 4th. Ak'chamel has built a solid reputation as a compelling stage project, wearing alptraumhafte costumes and engaging in hallucinatory rituals. Their unique sound combines desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and lo-fi ritual-folk. Derek Monypeny, born in the Arizona desert, adds to the desert continuum with his psychedelic sirocco swirl of desert-based stringed instruments.
