Sunn O))) returns to Berlin with their new self-titled album, performing live at CTM Festival. The duo, Greg Anderson and Stephen O’Malley, have been raising their electric guitars as Sunn O))) since 1998, distilling metal power chords into a primordial drone. Their performances are described as devotional and overwhelming, with a focus on stripping the project back to its core and pushing guitar, bass, and synthesizer to symphonic extremes.
