“Gipsy Legacy Project” training composed by Lorenzo Bucci on guitar, Federico Procopio on guitar and Giuseppe Civiletti on bass, is inspired by the French European jazz tradition in particular that started by guitarist Django Reinhardt. The trio offers a repertoire that includes jazz standards, waltz musettes and original compositions of Django, all in gypsy jazz style that will bring you back to the Paris atmospheres of the 1930s and forty in a mix of virtuosity and pathos. Their first work, on January 23, on the occasion of the 11th birthday of Django Reinhardt, the Gipsy Legacy Project honors the great artistic legacy of this extraordinary musician, who has made Jazzmanouche famous all over the world. The first trio record titled “Gipsy Danger” for the record label pop music,a collection of some of the most emblematic pieces of this repertoire, and two original compositions that reconnect to this tradition.
