TROPICO, a Neapolitan singer-songwriter born in 1985, is one of the artists who has most shaped the sound of Italian music in recent years.With his real name, Davide Petrella, he has in fact signed great successes for artists of the caliber of Jovanotti, Calcutta, Cesare Cremonini, Elisa, Elodie, Fabri Fibra, Gaia, Geolier, Lazza, Mahmood, Marracash, Marco Mengoni, Sfera Ebbasta, The Kolors and Tony Effe, becoming one of the most prolific (and victorious) authors also in several editions of Sanremo.After playing in the band Le Strisce he founded the solo project Tropico, with which he fuses eclectic melody and Neapolitan funk with the best of contemporary pop.
