SEMI returns for the fifth consecutive year, the cinema festival at the Serre born from the collaboration between Kilowatt and MUBI Italia, global distributor, streaming service and production company, considered today one of the largest communities of cinema enthusiasts: eleven free events from May to September (27 May - 16 September).The 2026 edition of SEMI will see a rich calendar of events with a review consisting of a program of film screenings on the big screen of the Serre and in parallel with three training courses organized within the SEMI FILM CLUB project, dedicated to people under 35 who are passionate about cinema.SEMI is dedicated to first and second works and aims to shine the spotlight on the most interesting talents of new national and international cinema;aims to enhance those works that usually have fewer opportunities to meet the general public, not being able to count on significant promotion budgets or on the notoriety of the artistic cast.
