Serpentine Transmission celebrates the release of the *of mud and gold* album featuring Nephila and Deathflavorkiss.The band consists of Nicki Chen, Elettronec Acoustic Viola;Nicholas Deyoe, guitars;BUT.Harms, drums and percussion;Micaela Tobin, vocals and electronics.With Nephila, local singer Shannon Kennedy combines her experience as an instrumentalist, sculptor and theater designer in performances that focus on her sonic sculptures.With them, he creates sound environments and narratives that represent connections between the natural world and the human psyche.Deathflavorkiss is formed by Melissa Achten and Eli Klausner, two composers, improvisers and multi-instrumentalists.Their collaboration of over ten years combines exotic objects and hand-built instruments with their experimental harp and piano.They have performed and presented compositions in New York, Montreal, London and Cyprus.Deathflavorkiss develops their work in production studio Oracle Egg, which is also an experimental art incubator that they run together.
